A frequently asked question from investors: can I sell my property before the leasehold term expires? The short answer is yes. In this article we explain how that works in practice.
You sell the remaining leasehold term
With leasehold, you transfer the remaining usage right to a new leaseholder. Suppose you enter on a term of 80 years and sell after eight years, then the new owner buys a position with 72 years remaining. The longer the original term, the more attractive and sellable that position remains.
Why our long term is an advantage
Where the market standard in Bali is 30 years, for our projects we have negotiated extension options of up to 80 years. That not only increases your own return horizon, but also the value on resale: a buyer who enters still has decades to go instead of a rapidly expiring term.
Guidance during the transfer
The transfer is handled through an established notary, with verified documentation. We support the legal handling and, where desired, the search for a buyer within our network of international investors. That way your exit is arranged just as smoothly as your entry.
